Leeds Trilogy
Oil on canvas 20″ x 47″. Since August 2016 I began a trilogy that I was commissioned to do of three areas of Leeds. I began with the iconic Corn Exchange in Leeds City Centre, I found this particular piece such an interesting composition the commissioner had chosen, I fell in love. After the first of the trio I then began Call Lane this evokes happy memories for me also again enjoyed sketching with another interesting composition. Last but certainly not least Kirkgate Market what a beautiful iconic piece of architecture! I’m sure this won’t be the last time I study the stunning historic buildings of Leeds.
